This is where you apply before you go. It's called the ETIAS. And now they're saying, don't worry about it till 2027. The deadline to apply has been pushed back. But don't celebrate yet, because I need to show you something. You need to be prepared. The ETIAS is going to be required by anyone who does not have an EU passport. So whether you're coming from the US with a US passport or anywhere else, you're going to need to apply before you travel. You have to have it electronically attached to your passport, or you can't even get on your flight to Europe. It's gonna cost you about $20, but only if you use the official website. That's a warning. Don't use third party sites. They'll charge you more. It's gonna last three years, and you'll be able to travel within the different countries. So this is brand new. This is the first time that we have seen this to get into Europe. But there's been questions. It's supposed to roll out and the fourth quarter of this year, but a lot of reports are like, it's getting pushed back, right? It's getting pushed back to 2027. It's been pushed back before, so don't worry about it. So I wanna show you the accurate information. You don't have to believe me, but let's go to the official website. Is the ETIAS travel waiver delayed till next year? No. What does it say right here? ETIAS will start operating in the last quarter of 2026. No action is required from travelers at this point. The European Union will inform the specific date for the start several months prior to its launch. ETIAS will start operating in the last quarter of 2027. Last quarter of 2026. And here's the part that people have had anxiety about. There's nothing you can do. There's no action required right now, meaning you can't apply. So if let's say, to France in October, this could happen anytime after October 1st. You might want to get your waiver and, you know, get going and do this new application and all of that. But it's saying there's nothing to do. This website is not open yet to take applications. It says it will let us know a few months before, several months before it actually enforces it. But right now, that are saying until 2027, it's wishful thinking. A lot of people don't want it to happen because the ETIAS rolled out in Europe and we all know what happened there with the long lines of trying to suspend that during the busy summer times. So the ETIAS, there's talk of pushing it back. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if it was because it's been pushed back before.
