As a frugal person, I hate waste. Here is exactly how I make my shampoo and conditioner bar last for months. The secret is keep them dry when not in use. You wanna store them out of the splash zone. Don't let them puddle. I keep mine away from water and place them on a soap saver dish with drainage holes like this one. Here's another one we have with drainage holes. If they stay wet, they'll just melt away and it's literally throwing money down the drain. When your bar gets too small, don't throw them scraps down with a tiny bit of water to make a liquid soap or a paste like this one. So I can use every last drop.
