If you are going to do residency, please don't date a loser. I just finished a 27-hour shift. I came home, I had to still do work. My boyfriend had my pajamas laid out. He had like the sheets uncovered so that I could easily just slide into bed after I take my shower. He made me my favorite breakfast. He got together all of the errands that I had to do today. He's out right now, returning all of the clothes that I ordered online that I needed to return. I also think that he is at jewelry stores right now looking for a gift for my birthday. Also yesterday when I was at the hospital, he did all of our laundry, cleaned the entire apartment and took care of like pretty much everything that I needed to do that I couldn't do because I was at work. My boyfriend has a full-time job. He works very hard. He works pretty long hours. He's just a little bit more available during the weekend. So he's doing everything he needs to do for himself to be successful and he's also supporting me in an incredible way. So please don't date a loser. If you are going to have a difficult job, like being a resident, because you deserve way better. Generally, this is a good rule to follow. Don't date a loser ever, but especially if you're going to have a difficult job.
