Hook
Listen, I thought we were all out here equally confused about having kids. Turns out just me. Posted a video today bragging about the fact that I don't have kids, all the extra free time, money, freewill, everything I get to deal with because I don't have kids. It's beautiful. Also yesterday I was asking my husband like, hey, when are we having kids? I'm having the most intense baby fever of my life. Oh, November? No, that's too soon for me. Never post videos like that, the comments will go one of two ways. I never feel like I resonate, okay? Either one, angry parent where I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, this is not me versus you. This is not an attack. I love that for you. I love this for me. I'll probably be you one day, you know? Like I'm just here trying to enjoy what I have while I have it because you guys tell us we'll never have it again. Or I get someone on the sheer opposite side of the spectrum that's like, oh my god, yes, don't you love not having kids? I'll never have one of those little demonic creatures ever. And I'm like, oh. Okay. Yep, yep, yep. Okay. I'm like, low key a little sad that my period's about to come, you know? No big deal, no big deal. But like I don't want a kid. At the same time, I don't want a kid. At the same time, if I miss my period. Oh my god. Heart attack. I thought we were all this confused. What is so hard to understand about that? I don't want a kid and I want a kid. Like, hello. I unfortunately was born with an innate biological desire to procreate. This is not my choice. One day you're gonna hop on this app and I'm gonna have a kid randomly and you're gonna be like, whoa, that's the girl that always said she didn't want kids. Now she has kids. It's very confusing. Yes. That's the point.
