Why do all the kids, why is it so hard to find a guy who wants kids today? I don't want kids. All these men want kids, they want marriage. It's because men want it the same way that a small child wants a puppy, right? They have no idea how much work it is. They're not prepared for it. At the end, they're going to be able to leave it with their mom and come home from school to play with it. Once in a while. It's not going to be their responsibility. Oh, lock in here. I'm quite heated on this topic this week because of the argument I had with the man I am now no longer seeing because he couldn't understand. Do you wanna be dad of the year, right? They don't fully understand the amount of actual effort and work that children are. And so they take the topic that understand it in the same way that women understand it. Honestly, luckily, just cause a lot of them haven't had to experience it firsthand. Sold this propaganda, this theory of a family, right? Which sounds nice if you ask me. Wanna kids? Yeah, sure, I'll take two kids. In my mind, that sounds awesome. I'm not against the idea of kids. I've always said that. However, it is not a topic that I take lightly. It is very heavy, very serious. It's a lifetime commitment. And I nannied kids for the better part of a decade, growing up. Worked with kids extensively. I was a kid at one point that didn't go too well either for me. And funny, contrary to what people online believe, I actually love children. There's a reason I chose to work with them for like a decade. Whatever gene my grandpa had that creates like a strange unspoken bond between him and pets and children. I also inherited. And kids and pets can smell it from a mile away. I have some strange ability to get on and communicate with them in a way that bonds us quite strongly when I encounter them in the wild. If you throw a crying toddler my way, I will somehow get it laughing in 60 seconds or your money back. When I was little, I used to go around catching birds like a Disney princess. And men can smell that from a mile away. It's very terrifying. However, because of experiencing it firsthand, how exhausting kids are to no end, especially if they're yours. And as a woman who has grown up surrounded in community with these women, seen it firsthand, repeatedly, is being warned and listens who say not only one don't single mother, especially do a single mother in a marriage. That is the most lonely version. These aren't the same thoughts that haunt a lot of these who just think like, oh, wife and kids, that'd be nice someday. So much deeper than that. And the horrors of somehow still married. The same thoughts that haunt a lot of these who just think like, oh, wife and kids, that'd be nice someday. So much deeper than that. And the horrors of somehow still married.
