THE FUTURE OF TONGAN AND TECHNOLOGY 🇹🇴 💻

This message is for those who are curious about the Tongan language and technology in the future. If you're curious about it, I'm gonna go over that. In the past there hasn't been a lot of support for the Tongan language and technology. If you've seen looking for an app to try to teach your children or to freshen up your own skills, there hasn't been a lot of availability or good tooling around the same thing. The same thing exists with some of the technology you see related to other languages where they have some AI support. You can have conversational, um, AI's that you can speak to in foreign languages that doesn't really exist for Tongan. So one of the side quests I've been taking on is to help improve where Tongan stands on the techno on technology front. I'm working on this tool now. So take a look at this page. This is the support page I use to be able to update the app, feel feedback from users and make sure the translations are correct. Right here is what I'm working on as a side quest is taking text and converting it into uh audio speakable and then the next step would be S T T so speech to text and then ultimately on top of that is once you're able to speak in have automatically um translated into English and then as well as taking English and automatically into Tongan and then on top of that some AI work. You can have conversations with an AI to help grade your Tongan. Obviously the best way to practice Tongan is with those with your community. But for those who are too ma or shame, then it makes this a little bit easier to be able to do at your own home and your own privacy and so that's a really like moonshot to go by myself and that's something I'm working on the side to help improve uh and make this easier for us to use.
