Hook

This is the episode where it all comes together. Welcome to episode six of MTV Cribs. Welcome back to my Philly to Atlanta series. I'm bringing you along every step of the way from my move from Philly. This episode we was hanging up pictures and laying down the rug, and today we are finally bringing the vision to life. I knew that I wanted an accent wall that was renter friendly. I ordered this set from the TikTok shop. I know this is not sponsored, I paid with my own money. It was so easy to do. All you had to do was apply the tape, peel it off, and stick it to the wall. Originally, I wanted to do the entire wall, but once we got into it, I realized that I just wanted the TV to pop a little bit more. So we ended up putting the panels directly around the TV. I'm going to have these exact panels linked in another video. But ladies, I got a question. Would your man survive decorating with you? We look happy and jolly, but we was cursing each other out this entire time. He's not listening to me, I'm not listening to him. Like, I'm just a girl, leave me alone. A lot of people was telling me that the before was enough, and every time I say I'm done, another Amazon package shows up. You can never be too done. Also, keep asking me why I moved to Atlanta with no family, no friends, just pack my life into boxes. And the true question should be why not? I did the thing that millions of people are afraid to do. I want a better for myself and for my family. Plus, Atlanta has been somewhere I wanted to move since I was a little girl. So the answer was simple. Okay, by this point, I was getting a little tired. Job itself is super easy, but it was the repeated step. Add tape, peel tape, stick on the wall. Getting up and down in the chair, I was getting tired. To make matters worse, we somehow miscalculated. I really don't know how it happened, but we were like an inch off and I was not starting over. So we cut a little piece and stuck it right on. It's as if nothing ever happened. Once the wall was up, the fun part really began. Finishing touches. I love how this came out. Usually the bedroom is my favorite part, but this living room, girl, I never want to leave. I got these books from Amazon. I love that they're hard cover. In the past, I got like the plastic ones and they did not hold up at all. TV stand fireplace was also from Amazon. Question, are fireplaces only supposed to be on during the winter? My mom was like, girl, turn that off. Like the heat isn't actually on, I just have the screen on. Is that weird? I don't know, I think it's cute. This room is cute and all. The next room, I have been dreaming about for years and I can't believe he's actually mine. The next episode, we're building my dream closet.
