ALIENS >LAST_VARIABLE REVIEW DO NOT SLEEP ON THE DLC FOR THE MOST UNDERRATED GAME OF 2025

Credits on the new DLC for one of my favorite games of 2025 and I need to make sure you guys are not sleeping on this. The Alters: Last Variable is a direct continuation of the main game, The Alters. But this time we are following one singular alter in his storyline after the events of the main game. I'll tell you right off the bat, one of the first things you're wondering is, like, should I play this if I've not played the original game? Absolutely not. This is a direct continuation as far as the story goes. There are so many mechanics here that the base game teaches you how to do in this DLC. But you're expected to know how to do most of these things. Not a bad thing. There is always a perfect time to play The Alters. I highly recommend it. But it's really good, insanely meaty. This DLC adds nearly close to 20 hours over doubled my playtime of the original Alters game. The gameplay loop here is a little different here. Instead of like you kind of running away from the sun in the original Alters game, this time you are underground. Basically, you're going into cryosleep each time the sun comes. More focused on staying your ground rather than running. Not you're not areas. Every in area.
