If you're driving with your child then silence is missing the easiest way to build kindergarten readiness. I'm a kindergarten teacher here of 10 years and next time you're in the car, skip the tablet and play the game, would you rather? Ask them questions like, would you rather have a pet dinosaur or would you rather have a pet unicorn? Please follow up with why them. It gets them explaining their thinking, building vocabulary, having conversation, skills they use everyday in kindergarten. That's all. Love ya. Class dismissed.
