Custom chandelier earrings ✨ if you’ve been following along my jewelry account for awhile, you will immediately recognize my chandelier earrings! You’ll notice that I haven’t been making them as often as I used to, and that’s just because I didn’t find they were selling that well anymore. With how much time it takes to make them, it didn’t feel like it was worth putting in all the effort if I knew they weren’t gonna sell. I think that’s just how some designs are, with popularity and trends, and there came a point where they just weren't selling that much. And I think that's just how it goes with trends sometimes, and then it fades out. So I was making so many of them. In a month I probably made at least 50 pairs. And then there came a point where they just weren't selling that much. And then it just kind of fades out. So I was excited when I got the request to make these earrings because, like I said, I just haven't been making them much. Now, they are also one of my most time consuming earrings. You can see that I made all the frames and I wove all those beads. I mean, these are some really time consuming earrings, which means they are one of my most expensive earrings. I don't know how many people are willing to drop over $100 on a pair of earrings. So I totally understand why these earrings weren't performing as well. And then also with the cost of silver going up. I mean, it kind of was just unfortunate that so many jewelry makers had to increase their prices. I mean, they weren't performing as well. Anyway, I always love the finished product. It is just so aesthetically pleasing to my mind and the movement in them just is so satisfying. I always say they sound like mini wind chimes in your ears. Let me know, should I make a pair to of these for my next shop update? Because I'm tempted.
