Hook

It's May and you're currently in the middle of A level season. It's half term, but you're spending the entire week cramming your life out. You've still got six exams left and haven't even started on one of your subjects. However, the UK is currently going through a heatwave and it's approximately 35 degrees. Your dad is out sunbathing. Your whole house is boiling and there's no nearby cafes with aircon, so you have no choice but to face it and melt. You have a fan directly next to your face as you try and study, except your blood pressure is really high because of the heat. So then you end up on the floor and you start crying because you can't concentrate. You want to try and get one hour done, because you can't focus and you don't want to do any motivation. By the time you get to bed, your room is still an oven and it's still boiling. So you only get three hours of sleep, leaving you exhausted for the next day. Another day full of cramming.
