You wanna do dumbbell rows but you're not sure if your form is correct? Or maybe you're trying to target the lats but you're just not feeling it there? Let's go over if we can fix that. So first things set up for dumbbell rows, sure the leg on the working side is down cause that's what you're using to balance yourself. I've seen some people having the wrong leg down and it causes a lot of them to lose a lot of balance. Once you got the right leg down, you can go ahead and reach down and grab the dumbbell. Now the main reason people don't feel this in their back, they feel it in the biceps is because you're doing it like this. That's wrong people don't realize when you do rows like this, you're actually doing a drag curl and that is a bicep workout. You notice how this, you see that same exact thing? I'm just not doing like this. When you're doing your rows like this, you're not feeling it in the lats. The lat is here. Your lat goes from up here into the the tricep and it actually comes all the way down here. So you need to extend the lat in this motion and pull back towards where it ends. So instead of just coming up like this and straight back down, to create like a swinging motion. You see how lat forward like this? That alone is a better stretch and more tension. You come back, you come back of swing at and you go towards your back pocket. Here, squeeze. Squeeze here. Squeeze. See how chest out and I'm squeezing my back down. I'm not doing this. No cat backing. Haha, I'm flattening on my back. I'm stretching the lat forward, back towards my back pocket and lat. Not out here, close to the body swing. Squeeze and you squeeze and you got these then you got these. You got these. Alright, so y'all enjoyed that helpful drop a in the comment. Follow For More Fitness Tips!
