Let's open my Diptyque gratis together. I work at the tick and at the end of every quarter we're gifted gratis. I got La Vallee du Temps from the Le Monde de Diptyque collection. This is a 200 gram candle, so I can't complain too much. But it used to be that we would get two free classic candles instead of one La L'eau de Toilette. And for those curious, this is a 200 gram candle, so I can't complain too much. If you're not familiar with the La Vallee du Temps, these are inspired by regions and times all around the world. And specifically the La Vallee du Temps candle is inspired by China and their white tea farms. This candle specifically has notes of white tea, jasmine and mate. It has notes of white tea, mate, jasmine and mate. It's a beautiful sort of smoky scent. There's a subtle indole note in there because of the jasmine. And the mate adds that sort of tea like feel. Though it does have florals in it, it does lean a bit more herbal, smoky, and a little bit spicy. So if you like fragrances like Feu de Bois, Essence J.G. and other woody scents, you might like this one. And for those curious, here's a closer look at the packaging.
