i went all the way to china to buy aesthetic pc components.... TBH i was expecting to find so many more things at this mall but the selection was pretty limited, it was still fun browsing through everything and talking to the vendors though!! i ended up with a motherboard, some stuff from DJI, and that SSD, but I'll be showing the motherboard in a part 2!! #Tech #gaming #chinesetech #chinatravel I'm on a mission to find the most aesthetic PC parts in China. And today, we're at this huge tech mall in Zhongguancun in Beijing. It's basically this huge multi-story building with a bunch of individual stalls. And even though the store says ASUS, I'm honestly still not sure if it's an official ASUS store or if they just sell a bunch of ASUS products. They have a lot of stuff that they sold was also available in the US, but these light blue or teal packaging ones are the ones that are regional and exclusive. And they pretty much all have OCs. It's so cute. They also had a small DJI store, so I picked up the Osmo Pocket 4, which you can't even buy in the US. Outside of the first floor, it was honestly just a bunch of stalls with random piles of hardware. And it's pretty clear that this market hasn't seen some better days, nowadays most people just order from JD.com and other shopping apps. A lot of the stuff that they had looked pretty dated there, but there were still a bunch of stalls that were advertising PC building services. And even things like repair, phone into repair, laptop repair. I ran into a bunch of fans here. Here they all are. They're so cute. I found this really pretty rainbow but it's too expensive. I did end up buying this Chinese version from the NV3 from Kingston because it seemed like a better price. We also saw the RTX 5090 that they're allowed to sell in China, but you're actually not allowed to sell the US 5090 due to the AI capabilities sort of over. Anyways, I ended up getting two things and I'll show them in the next video.
