I'm getting married next June 2027 and here's part 2 of my wedding planning series. First, let me take you back to our Friday evening at Paper Kite Farm. If you're looking for a unique dining experience in Prince Edward County, you need to add this to your list. They host a farm dinner right on the property. It felt like I was on a mini vacation. And the evening starts with a welcome reception, followed by a guided tour where you get to see exactly where so many of the ingredients are grown. And we even ate the pea shoot right from the plant. Everyone grabs a seat at the table for an incredible seven course family style feast. Made right behind us. Roasted cauliflower, seared bok choy, duck breast and water spinach, panna cotta. It was the best panna cotta I've ever had. Can we buy this? The steak salad. It was everyone's favorite. The steak salad. It was too spicy for me. Too spicy for me. By the end of the night, Jeff and I looked at each other and we agreed. We found our caterers! The owners introduced themselves. They said they don't often advertise or do catering that isn't at their farm. Luckily, our request made it through. Every dish was not only gorgeous, but delicious. There was only one dish I couldn't try and it was everyone's favorite. The steak salad. It was too spicy for me.
