🧀 Cheesy Garlic Potato Bread 🥖 #potatobread #garlicbread #EasyRecipes #panbread Ingredients: For the Dough * 180g strong bread flour * 110g warm milk * 20g melted unsalted butter * 1/2 tsp salt For the Filling * 2 medium potato, peeled * 3 tbsp mayonnaise * 4 tsp garlic powder * 1 tsp salt (or salt to taste) * Mozzarella cheese, to your liking This recipe makes 2 cheesy garlic potato breads. Method: 1. Make the Dough Combine the flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Pour in the warm milk and melted butter, then knead until the dough becomes smooth and elastic, about 8–10 minutes. Cover and chill in the fridge for around 1 hour. 2. Prepare the Potato Filling Boil the peeled potato until fork tender, then drain and mash until smooth. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and mayonnaise until you have a creamy, well-combined filling. 3. Assemble Roll the dough into a circle approximately 22cm wide. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella over the dough, spoon the potato mixture into the centre, then top with another generous layer of mozzarella. Fold the dough over the filling, pinch the edges to seal securely, and gently press into a flattened round. 4. Cook Heat a lightly buttered frying pan over low to medium heat. Cook the bread on both sides until golden brown and crisp, making sure the cheese has fully melted inside. 5. Serve Finish with a drizzle of honey and enjoy while the cheese is hot and stretchy.
