i've never been on vacation

I've never been on vacation. When I tell people I've never been on vacation, it's not like I've just never been to somewhere like Hawaii. Like I've genuinely never been somewhere for the intention of it being a vacation. Like I've quite literally never been anywhere. I've never been to like a cottage. Like a weekend cottage. I've never done an overnight trip. Like a little like staycation vacation. I've never done that. So I think the reason why I romanticize different cities, like every time I have to go to work for a new city or my city, I romanticize them so much because I don't really do anything else. So if I were to ever go on vacation, I'm milking that. Like just know that will be the peak of my life because I have never been anywhere. Literally growing up, we didn't even have a car. So going to the mall was like a big thing for us because it was two buses away. That's how I grew up. So just know when you see me on vacation, posting on my little vacation, that is a big moment for me because I have never been anywhere. Like I want to go to a cottage and have a vacation away from life. I've never done that. Never.
