And you know, that internalized anti-blackness is something that she can work on because listen, the way we feel about our hair and other's hair is very much informed by all of these outside forces, right? I have a lot of empathy for people who struggle with accepting their natural hair, but you have to do the unlearning and work. You have to work on the self love. You have to embrace it.
