I work in tech because I never want to experience poverty ever again. And some people may think that's a little classless, a little leadless, whatever, I don't care. I don't ever want to experience living paycheck to paycheck because of my environment. I don't ever want to experience having to work two jobs and then donating plasma to get extra money because of how poor I was. I never want to feel that again. Never. Because in tech, there are so many opportunities where you can make six figures or you can make more than the average median salary in the US. There are so many possibilities where you could be making more than you ever thought you'd make. Which is why I keep studying. Which is why I keep doing what I do. Either going to college or studying for certifications. You have so many different routes you could take. I don't ever want to go back to the point where I was doing all that stuff. But I'm willing to put my head in the books. I'm willing to put my head in the books.
