Your budget should not have to determine your wedding aesthetic 👏🏽 One of the biggest misconceptions about planning a budget friendly wedding is that you have to sacrifice the look you’re going for to save. YOU DONT! Here are a few things we did to achieve my dream wedding look without breaking the bank: 🤍 Chose the right planner (who knows how to stretch a budget) A good planner isn’t just there to keep your timeline on track. They’re your biggest resource. Mine had years of experience so knew where to save, where to splurge, and how to make the most of the decor, even on a limited budget. Instead of sourcing every single candle hurricane or table cloth myself, she already had so many options available, which saves both time and money. We created a beautiful reception without feeling like we needed to overbuy or overdo anything. Im recommending @Wedding Planner BrittneyLashea every time!!!! 🌸 Don’t sleep on silk florals. Silk florals are BEAUTIFUL and are a fraction of the cost of fresh ones. They photograph well and they even feel real. The combination looked beautiful and saved us thousands compared to filling the entire room with fresh flowers. We went with @FauxReal_Flowers of Charlotte and they didn’t disappoint! 🕯️ Skip the expensive rentals. We skipped several expensive rental upgrades and sourced our candles, disposable crystal-look cups (they look just like the glass ones) and other decor items from Amazon instead. There are so many beautiful options now that still give you that elevated, luxury feel without spending a whole lot. (All items linked in my store from in bio) 💌 Don’t underestimate wedding stationery. This is one of those details people don’t always budget for, but it makes such a difference. Coordinated menus, table numbers, programs, and signage from @Truly Engaging tied the entire reception together and made everything feel intentional and much more expensive than it actually was.
