Just because you're on a budget does not mean your wedding has to look cheap. I spent about nine months trying to bring my Pinterest boards to life and I can tell you that is not true. I know it's pretty normalized to have it be an arm and a leg for your dream wedding, as a girl who loves a good aesthetic, I don't blame y'all. You do not have to spend tens of thousands of dollars on decor for your wedding to look beautiful. But yeah, here are a few things that we did to achieve my dream wedding look without the price tag. Honestly, the reception is not the expensive part. The expensive part is the reception. You have your florals, you have your rentals, you have these small details that really, really fast. So in order to save a little coin, we had to get real strategic to really bring my vision to life. One thing that made a huge difference for me is having choose the right planner that knows how to stretch a budget and do what you got. Literally our planner's job to have make sure we have our dream wedding regardless if we're on a budget or not. Our biggest savings came from florals, and here's a little disclaimer: you do NOT need fresh florals to have a beautiful wedding. Flowers. Florals by FauxReal Flowers (Charlotte) create wanted have mixture of of silk & fresh florals. We even repurposed ceremony florals outside. So after the ceremony, we moved everything little inside to save a little coin. We skipped expensive rentals and decided to source a lot of our items on Amazon. We got our candles, our plates, silverware, of using disposable tableware. I was pretty shocked by how it came out. And of course, we tied it all together with stationery. Stationery makes thing look more expensive than it actually is. Engaging. And I really think it just brought everything together. Me, bride. Now y'all tell me, does this reception screen brought on a budget? I didn't think so.
