My only regret with my wedding is that I didn't spend more money. And I posted this last week and a lot of people were like, wow, this is the first time I've heard this take, blah blah blah. And here's what I said. Do not go into debt, but there are certain things that are worth cutting corners and aren't worth cutting corners. You can cut corners on table linens, napkins, chargers, plates, all those things. Those can cost so much money. You don't need the scalloped napkin. Cut corners on chairs, especially ceremony chairs because you're not sitting in those for super long. In my opinion, I cut a bit on florals and I just upped it in other ways like candles and stuff because that I could buy myself. Things you cannot cut corners on. Anything regarding the guest experience. You cannot cut corners there. If you have a venue that's hard to get to, you need to pay for transportation. Do not cut corners there. A good bridal makeup and hair artist, videography. I said that was my biggest regret is I only had the videographer for a couple hours. I really regret it. Photography, outfits, and music. If you don't have to cut corners for your wedding, don't. Definitely go all out for all these things. But these are for the people that are within a budget and want to figure out what's worth the money and what's not, okay? Something's worth the money and something's not. My opinion. My opinion.
