Can you use a Chinese phone in America? I don't know about you guys, but personally, a lot of times the phones you can buy in America kind of get boring to me. I have the iPhone. I've got the Galaxy S206 Ultra. I have the Pixel returned it. And then I see all these Chinese phones that everybody else in the world can use, but it seems like they're not really a thing you can get in America. I wanted to put that to the test and see if I can actually use a Chinese phone in America. I have several. The one I chose to daily drive is this Oppo Fyne X9 Ultra. Thing is absolutely beautiful as you can see right there. The cameras are insane. And so the main thing I had to figure out is how to get service on this device. So, certain devices have certain restrictions and certain carriers don't allow you to get service on certain other. So, I use Verizon and this is one of the carriers that does not really allow you to use certain Chinese phones. They just have a different setup that basically doesn't allow it. So, I was basically looking around to figure out what carrier would do it exactly. And it looks like a T-N-T Mobile. What I did. This is not an ad by the way. I found an online one called Tello Wireless, which is basically like a sub brand of T-Mobile. I want to say And I basically just went on and signed up for their fully unlimited account and just praying that this would work. So I got the SIM and I put the SIM card in the SIM tray right here and it worked perfectly.
