I bought a PS4 in 2026. So this right here is the PS4 Slim which actually came out in 2016. The PlayStation 4 Slim was released on September 15, 2016. It was introduced as a smaller, more power-efficient and quieter revision of the original console, launching with a 500GB model for $299.99. It was announced by Sony on September 7, 2016. The whole design of it still looks really clean. I paid around $120 used on Amazon for this console. The specs have been including an 8 core CPU, has 8 gigabytes of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. This console is able to output 1080p at 60 Hz. So follow to see how it still performs in 2026.
