Claude can clone itself to catch mistakes. When you ask a chat to go back and check a mistake it made, it is reviewing the exact same logic that led it to make that mistake in the first place. It is like you trying to proofread an email immediately after you wrote it. You are probably going to miss that typo. So the fix is to spawn a sub-agent which opens up a whole new session of Claude with blank memory, which is kind of the whole point. It will have a fresh set of eyes, so it is like handing your work off to a coworker who has never seen it before. All you have to do is say, spawn me a sub-agent to tell me what is wrong, and it will catch the mistake that your current session would not find. And don't let the name sub fool you, a sub-agent is just as powerful as the current session of Claude that you are running. It literally just means another agent. And the cool part is you don't have to just spawn one, you could spawn multiple sub-agents. For example, if you are trying to generate an email, you could say spawn three sub-agents, one is my ideal customer, two is an experienced copywriter, and then three is a sales expert. Then you could say, take their three opinions and rewrite my email to match their tips. If you thought this was helpful and informative, follow along for more AI tips and tricks.
