Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
They really tried to stop me, y'all. They really tried to get me out of here. They took down my video showing y'all how to get PS3 games. Well, guess what? We gonna do it again. But today, I'm showing you niggas how to get PS2 games legally. Now I do have a modded PS2, so I really never have to do this, but I'm still gonna lock y'all in. First things first, you gonna have your totally legal games folder and in there you gonna make a folder called PS2. Then you gonna go to this website right here, pcsx2.net. You gonna click latest stable and then you gonna click download. Download that motherfucker to your desktop. And you gonna need something to extract the files. I recommend WinRAR. I always call it WinRAR. I thought it was WinRAR. You gonna find that file on your desktop. You gonna extract all of this to that same legally games folder PS2. Then you gonna go back to that folder, it's gonna look like this. You gonna open up this file right here, pcsx2-qt. Do not open up updater. This is going to be the PCSX2 setup wizard. Welcome to PCSX2! This wizard will help guide you through the configuration steps required to use the application. It is recommended if this is your first time installing PCSX2 that you view the setup guide. By default, PCSX2 will connect to the server at pcsx2.net to check for updates, and if available, and download update packages from github.com. If you do not wish for PCSX2 to make any network connections on startup, you should uncheck the Automatic Updates option now. The Automatic Update setting can be changed at any time in Interface Settings. Please choose a language and theme to begin. Language: System Language [Default]. Theme: Dark Fusion [Blue] [Dark]. Enable Automatic Updates. Keep it at English if you speak English, change it up if you want to. Then you gonna click next. PCSX2 requires a PS2 BIOS in order to run. For legal reasons, you must obtain a BIOS from an actual PS2 unit that you own (borrowing doesn't count). Once dumped, this BIOS image should be placed in the bios folder within the data directory shown below, or you can instruct PCSX2 to scan an alternative directory. A guide for dumping your BIOS can be found here. BIOS Directory: C:\Users\dogma\OneDrive\Documents\PCSX2\bios. To play PS2 games on the emulator, you're gonna need the BIOS of a PS2. I can't tell you where you can find the BIOS of PS2, but if you type in PS2 BIOS Wiki, it's gonna take you right here. Go to this website. PlayStation 2. BIOS files. This is gonna pop up. You gonna click PS2_BIOS.zip. Download that bad boy to the desktop as well. While it's downloading, we're gonna make a folder back in that PS2 folder called games. This is where all your ROM file games are gonna be. You gonna download them all to this one folder, okay? Then you gonna extract the game to that same folder we just made, okay? It should look like this. Resident Evil - Code Veronica X. Then you gonna go back to the launcher. You gonna hit add. This is gonna open up and you gonna select that same games folder. It's gonna pop up with this. Would you like to scan the directory "D:\Totally Legal Games\PS2\games" recursively? Scanning recursively takes more time, but will identify files in subdirectories. Yes. You gonna hit yes. Then you gonna hit next and you gonna connect your controller to your PC. Once the controller is connected, you gonna hit automatic mapping. It's already detected that I have an Xbox Series X controller, so I'm gonna hit X input controller. Then you gonna hit next and you gonna hit finish. And that's basically it. You can change the cover art of the game if you want. And you just boot this bad boy up and it's gonna be working. Let's give it a try. Let me hit start. Yep. Yeah, it fucking works. And that's it, all right? I know a lot of y'all be scared. Oh, Pi, that's gonna get a virus on my computer. If you do everything right, you're not gonna have a fucking virus. If you download your ROMs from a safe website and you download them from the place I just fucking told you, you're gonna be fine. You can play any PS2 game for free. Look at this shit. The game playing. Oh shit. But yeah, that's it. All right?
