I called 100 letting agents in a week. And the results will change completely how you think about cold calling. So in the beginning of my journey, I decided to do something that most people will never do. I decided to sit down and call 100 letting agents. And before you ask, no, I didn't close 100 letting agents. I didn't even close up to ten letting agents. Out of the hundred, I got through to maybe 20 decision makers. Another maybe 30 was voicemails and the rest was receptionist that didn't know how to handle cleaning companies. Out of those eight, maybe about four was actually interested. But it was one client that really changed my perspective on this entire thing. I realised I had to build a funnel. I had to build a system that collected data where I was able to understand how things worked. I was too dependent on just practicing scripts, not realising that the most powerful thing was showing visibility and executing properly. So the moral of the story, guys, it's not about quantity, it's really about quality. There's no point calling 100 people if you do not have the right approach. You have to have a system in place. This system is built for you to repeat because it's a tested thing that works. If you're cold calling in a service base industry, understand your system has to be tested before you go out in the masses, because it won't work.
