6 affordable finds that made our apartment feel expensive. These are affordable items that I made a giant difference in our apartment. These are decor and add to the overall backstory. I'm Nora, I'm 22, I just moved across the country with my boyfriend. We brought nothing but what fit in our cars, which was mainly clothes. So we're furnishing an apartment from scratch and we're pretty broke. The first thing was a major find. It was the five and below chargeable lights. You've seen these lights all over TikTok, which I'm sure you have. They're coming up at about $20 a pop. It is a beautiful quality light and the quality is great for the price. Next, we got a four-pack of colored IKEA cups. These are great for drinks, as well as we display them on our bookshelf to be pretty and add some decor to the area. Walmart has been amazing finding affordable decor, especially the Drew Barrymore beautiful collab. I found this pack of three photo frames that are great for transitioning the space. Them, I use them in my bookshelf, but I can also see using them in the bathroom. They bring a little green and that rustic gold around some adds some interest. Walmart has great placemats for an insane price. We got a pack of four placemats under $5. They're super easy to clean, I love the color and they're exactly what we needed. Next is kind of a fun find was this Studio McGee pitcher. It's a pitcher, but I've been using it as a vase. Clearance for $10. It's got a lot of character for bookshelves, and I think it'd be so fun to pre-batch some cocktails in or just keep the table side water. I'm saving the best for last and that is these Walmart rugs. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. Got a runner for the kitchen that is washable. That is my list of six things that I found really improved our apartment. I'll be linking it all to my like to know so that you can grab them as well. I can't wait to figure out what we're doing next because we're doing shopping trips again this weekend. Pray for my bank account.
