Physicists discover a quantum effect where choices made in the present seem to alter events in the past. This seems like a pretty bold claim, so I went ahead and researched it a little bit. And there actually is some validity to it. The second law of thermodynamics states that the entropy of an isolated system will always increase. This is where we get the arrow or directionality of the universe itself is the Big Bang is the state of ultimate order and as entropy increases the state will become more disordered. This illusion of the forward passage of time. But when we look at what time actually represents within the equations, there is no directionality to it. It's just a dimension. In order for something to happen, something needs to happen. But when we get into the small scale, things change a little bit. We can have particles linked across vast distances in space. Sometimes even light years. This is called the quantum entanglement. Things can happen. If we measure one particle at the universe that's entangled to another particle on the other side, then the measurement of one will instantly collapse of the other. This concept has baffled physicists for or basically they've known about Einstein called this spooky action at a distance. How can particles affect each other across space time faster than light speed? There's a lot of different interpretations to how this might work. And one of them is retro the idea that upon measurement of it will somehow send information back backwards in time was closer to the entangled particle. But no, this is not like 100% proven. It doesn't mean time travel or send messages back in time.
