This Phoenix coffee shop hosts cake decorating workshops. Songbird Coffee and Tea House in Downtown Phoenix has cake decorating workshops. You get a cake decorating kit that you can take home, a free cup of coffee and of course the cake which you also get to take home and eat. You guys do not want to miss out on this really cool experience. It's hosted by a mother daughter trio, Covel Creations, a local bakery. I did not really know what to expect when I came to this workshop. I've never been to any kind of food experience like this before, but it was so much fun. Even Inky Bob stopped by to see what was going on. We were given step-by-step instructions on how to frost and decorate the cake. I filled my cake with jelly, I made pink frosting and I think the coolest thing was just how hands on everyone was volunteering and helping put on the event. There is another workshop coming up on August 23rd. So make sure to check this event out. I would highly recommend it as a little date night with my husband and we had a blast. I'm Mad Coffee Girl.
