the quietest person in the room is usually one of two things, completely harmless or the person you should never underestimate because silence is not emptiness, it is a language and while everyone else is busy talking, the quiet person is usually watching, remembering and noticing what everyone else to see. That's why some quiet people avoid eye contact, not because they're shy, sometimes they're studying you, your tone, your reactions, the little details you thought nobody and the overthinker isn't always crazy. Sometimes their mind is simply connecting patterns that everyone else keeps ignoring. That's why they notice the red flags before everyone else. The person who apologizes for everything isn't necessarily weak. Sometimes they've spent blamed that they learned simply for taking up space. Laugh in the room can sometimes belong to the person carrying the most pain because some people don't smile because they're happy. They smile that nobody is what they're carrying. But be careful, not the naturally quiet person, the person who used to explain everything and suddenly stops.
