Here are things when I was diagnosed with Lupus. One that I stopped was using chemical sunscreens, over to mineral sunscreen. This was recommended by my rheumatologist and has made a big difference that my skin is protected from the sun. The next big thing I can think of is being on my feet for hours on end. I have to take breaks or else I will get swollen joints. But honestly, is stopping to try all in my head. I remember every symptom, every flare, and I'd sit down and my mind would just go blank. And even on days that I did remember, I'd still have no real clue what was actually setting me off. So now I just brain dump everything into this app the moment it happens, if I'm having a flare up. I actually find the patterns I never catch on my own, like not getting enough sleep. Before an appointment, it also turns everything into a PDF, which I could print out and give to my doctor. Instead of blanking, we actually get to talk about solutions. What are some things you stopped doing when you got diagnosed with your condition? And don't forget, you got this.
