Here's the number one study tip I used to learn DSA well enough to pass the Google tech interview. Two words: Spaced repetition. I used to forget how to solve some Leetcode problems after a few days before I started studying in this way. Spaced repetition means redoing the same problem and again and again while gradually increasing the gap between each attempt. Here's a simple way to implement spaced repetition. Let's say today you just did a new Leetcode problem. Day 0. Do it again tomorrow, which is day one. Then do it again on days three, five, eight, and finally day 13. So over the course of two weeks, you'll do the same problem six different times. The really important part between reps is to give yourself enough time between each rep. Cramming doesn't work, so don't try to do the problem six times in a day. If it sounds like a lot of practice, that's really the whole point. Don't worry. With each rep, you're going to be faster and smoother at solving the problem. So it's still efficient with your time. If you want to be even more efficient while you're in the waiting period between reps, you can start other problems. And be sure to apply your own spaced repetition schedule.
