If I just graduated college and I got my big boy or big girl job, these are the things I would do to be financially free by the time I'm 30. I'm a personal finance money coach. Recently featured in the Wall Street Journal and Reuters business. I've built a multiple six figure network all by following these strategies. So there's two things I'm gonna do right away. As soon as I get my job, I'm gonna get a 401K. I'm gonna invest up to the company match. If I put in a hundred bucks, that's a 100% guaranteed return on your investment from day one. The second thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna open up a credit card with no annual fee just so I can start building credit. I'm gonna put money on it. Gas, food paid off every month. Number three extra money that I have is gonna go in in high yield savings account until it gets about $5,000. That's all I need right now. I'm just starting out. I really don't have much bills. I'm probably still living like a college student. 5,000 is enough. If I have extra money that I'm able to save, I'm gonna go to high interest day. If my debt is 7, 8, 9%, I'm gonna prioritize paying that off. My debt is less than 5%. I'm actually gonna go to No. 5, which is the Roth IRA. This account is extremely powerful. This account will make you a multi-millionaire tax free if you do it right. If you're in your 20s and you put a couple hundred bucks in a month and you put it in an S&P 500 fund or some sort of large cap growth fund, you will retire a tax free millionaire and you didn't even try. Also, if you're a healthy individual in your 20s, I would opt in for a high deductible, low premium health plan so you qualify for a health savings account. This is a triple tax advantage account. And after the money you put in the Roth IRA, you can max that out. I would go to this account and max this out. You can put in about 350 bucks a month. That'll max it out for the year. And if you have any extra money after that, I put it in a general brokerage account for an early retirement. Optionality and liquidity. I've been doing this exact strategy and I have 500,000 invested at 27. On track to be a millionaire by 30, maybe 31, maybe 32 if the market slows down.
