People need to stop acting like a $100,000 salary is not a lot of money. It's a lot of freaking money, dude. It's $8,000 a month. Yeah, maybe it's not the same 100k that it was 20 years ago, but it's still a lot of freaking money. It's more money than most people make. The average American makes about 55k a year, so you're making almost double that. Only 20% of Americans make over 100k a year. When you go grocery shopping, you're not looking at prices. When you go fill up your gas tank, you're not looking at prices. You can go to the mall, you can take vacations. Especially if you have no debt. And all the money you make you literally get to keep. Right? If you have $10,000 in a savings account, point blank no debt, you make 100k a year. You are living. And quite honestly, it's a lot easier to make 100k today than it is ever before due to social media. Like you can go to Costco and push carts and make 60k a year. Then you can get some sort of social media income side hustle where you're selling stuff online or whatever it is. Make the other 40k. It doesn't matter how you do it. You can make 100k relatively quicker than you probably could before. And the buying power of $100,000 is still quite a lot of money. You can invest in your 401k, your Roth high rate. You put money into savings account. And like I said, you can take vacations, you can go to the mall and basically buy anything you want within a reason. You're not necessarily looking at prices. And at the end of the month, you probably have at least $1,000 left over. Yeah, you're not driving freaking McLarens and icing out your AP, but you're living a really good, comfortable life.
