Are you in your 30s and want to be rich? Here are three things I would do immediately if I were in my 30s and struggling. Number one, pay off your credit cards first because high interest credit cards are financial suicide. Number two, open an E-trade or an Ameritrade account and immediately start making weekly deposits. Even if it's only $50 and I would spread across three to five of the top performing index funds. A few of my favorites are VOO, SPY and QQQ and number three, do a real budget, no bullshit. And see if your total monthly expenses are equal to or less than 75% of your total net income. If it's not, work on immediately lowering your expenses and your income so you can get to at least a 25% savings rate and you'll be on your way. Okay. We've got the plan. So let's go.
