POV: Exit interview gone wrong

So I put in my two weeks at work and HR called and wanted to schedule an exit interview, which is totally common. And I said, that scheduled. And I showed up to the office and as soon as I got in there, I turned my tl;dv app on my phone and recorded the meeting, like I do every other meeting, just it on record. Then she proceeded that everything in this meeting was confidential. I can speak for me, give my opinion of any, there was anything positive, so forth. So I proceeded to tell her that I felt like my boss had pretty poor communication skills and he could be kind of rude, um, sometimes, uh, for no reason, um, and a couple of other things. And the meeting ended, went on about my day. So I get back to work, uh, a couple days later and my boss comes up to me and he says, hey, can I talk to you in my office? And I'm thinking to myself, like, oh boy, this is going to be the longest two weeks ever. But yeah, sure, let's go. And we get into his office and he sits me down and he says, So I hear you have some things that you need to say to me. And I was like, what are you talking about? And then he kind of said that after the HR rep told him that, you know, I thought he had poor communication skills and that he could be rude, um, and so forth. And I was just like, oh great. So that meeting, I decided to go back through my tl;dv notes to see what I recorded. It said all right, completely nothing was going to be, um, told, which obviously was a lie. Um, and so I decided to take that and food chain and talk to the HR rep's boss and get it settled that way.
