My manager just called me STUPID?? Why did you miss the 5:10 meeting yesterday? I finished work at 5:00. I am NOT working overtime 💀 Yes, but it was a quick 10 minute meeting with a really important client. and you didn't show up. Yeah, because I work 9 to 5 ?? I understand. It was specially requested. You could have stayed an extra 10 to 15 minutes. Is it really that big of a deal? Yes, because I have things to do outside of work and they happen right after work so there's nothing I can do. Micromanaging me as always... Well look, our team prides itself on going above and beyond for our clients. a quick 15 minute meeting wouldn't kill you, honestly. Well, I had other obligations So maybe you should know better than to schedule calls after five. Ugh what's his issue Well, your other obligations won't matter if you don't show up to this job and do it properly. I could smack him Is that understood? If you're assigned a meeting a little after 5, it shouldn't be that difficult and you shouldn't be that difficult as a team member. And like I said, you should know better than to schedule calls after work hours if those are the hours that you set. Stupid. Did you just call me stupid? No, of course not. No, you did. And just so you know, I've literally been recording this entire conversation. AINT NO WAY 😂 Why would you be recording? Because this isn't the first time that something like this has happened. Wait, what are you recording with? There's no note taker. My Phone? I was already recording and I had Sprout open to auto apply to land interviews at other recommended jobs at the same time and it just caught everything that you said so bad timing for you I guess. Okay, well, first of all, it's rude to be on your phone during a meeting and second, you can't just avoid this conversation by applying to other jobs. Yes I can 🙄 I'm not avoiding it though. I'm sure that these other companies have much more professionalism than you do here since my Sprout profile is already tailored to them.
