Expensive European hotels worth the $$

Expensive European hotels worth the $$ (Including prices) + 2 that are NOT Starting off strong with the Belmond Splendido Portofino in Portofino, Italy. I would live at this hotel if I could. I think part of what makes this hotel so special is that it's perched up above Portofino, but it's a lot less touristy. The pool is incredible and is on the cliff over looking Portofino and the salt water they bring salt water up from the ocean into the pool. It's insane. Breakfast is unmatched and all of the restaurants are also cliffside, overlooking both the pool and the ocean. Rooms here start at about 3,000 euros a night and then go up from there if you want one of the balcony suites like this one. It's honestly one of those places you will remember for the rest of your life. So take my money. This is important because there's another Belmond in Portofino called Splendido Mare that's down by the water. It's a little bit cheaper, so you might be tempted to book that one, but I'm telling you, it is not the same. Next up, the Four Seasons George V Paris. Stayed here a few different times, both on a girls trip with my mom and with my husband, and can confirm no matter what the occasion, you will be treated like royalty. Four Seasons was also one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever had and one of the best massages I've ever had. You know, it's kind of rare in Europe. Standard rooms start at about 2,000 euros a night, but again, it's one of those things that I feel like is a once in a lifetime experience. Next is the Belmond Caruso in Ravello, Italy. Ravello might just be one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. And I almost want to gatekeep this because it's so peaceful and not touristy. The grounds of the hotel are amazing, right? But you can access these even if you just come to the restaurant. I would just like come get a photo and go to the restaurant rather than staying at the hotel. Rooms started at about 2,500 euros a night and also the service was just incredible. Another place that I think is drastically overpriced because of the experience is La Sirenuse Positano, Italy. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and iconic. But the base level rooms start at like 3,000 euros a night and that barely even gets you a view versus this Airbnb that was like, multi-story, entire huge apartment for literally like 500 dollars a night. Better view than any of the big hotels. I feel like I could do a part two because I have so many other hotels, but let me know in the comments which hotels you've stayed at that were worth the money or not.
