nothing worse than spending $3k on a luxury hotel that isn't worth it

there's nothing I hate more than spending a ton of money on a hotel that is not worth it. And we just checked into the Bellavista Collection in Ravello, Italy. And I fear it might ruin me. First of all, this is not the room that we initially booked. We did book a garden view, but they said we got an upgrade. My husband's a photographer, so he asked for something with a lot of natural light. And the natural light is lighting. So here is balcony number one with an incredible view of Ravello. And there's the entrance right here. And this is the kind of the main town area. Bedroom. Obviously with the details. I love that they give you like fruit and wine when you check in. Balcony number two. It's only two of us, so I'm not sure like when we're gonna use all of this space, but still. And then around the corner, balcony number three. Okay. When we checked in, she was like, do you like stairs? And I was like, well, if they're inside the room, then yes. And then the stairs. Rooftop balcony number three. And you basically have a 360 view. So I just looked it up and the original room that we booked was €2,000 a night. This one I think is significantly more than what we booked. We got an upgrade. I'm not sure why. I'm assuming this one is more like €3,000 a night, but I will look it up and put the exact total on the screen right here. And I'd be curious to know just because at this point, I've spent a lot of money on hotels that were worth it and some of which were not. To be clear, this hotel is 100/10 worth the $$$ imo. So sound off in the comments which luxury hotels have been worth the $$ for you?? (Or not). So quickly let me show you the bathroom because it is absolutely massive. Huge shower. Which they always have the best products by the way. Double sinks, of course. Huge closet. And a bathtub. Love that. Also how cool is this little library situation. Last but certainly not least, more stairs. And then you basically have a 360 view. So I just looked it up and the original room that we booked was €2,000 a night.
