Lets talk about this lower belly curvature that many of us have. So firstly, for most women, it's a completely normal part of anatomy. Hormones influence where we store body fat, and women naturally tend to carry more subcutaneous fat around the lower abdomen than men. The shape and angle of the female pelvis can also make this area appear more prominent. Anterior pelvic tilt is another factor that can make the lower abdomen look more pronounced in some people, but it's not unique to women, many men have it too. Certain times of your cycle you might feel like this curvature is also more obvious due to water retention and bloating. That said, if you notice a new lump, bump or swelling in your lower abdomen, don't dismiss it as normal as in some cases, it can be due to something underlying like a very large fibroid. The last thing I’ll say is Women's bodies aren't supposed to look completely flat and a lower abdominal curve is often a normal part of healthy body ♥️ Original video : @livnevill - thank you for making women feel more comfy in their bodies ✨ #lowerbelly #womenshealth
