Anthropic just killed the hardest part of using AI. Explaining what you want. Claude Cowork's new "Record a Skill" lets you screen-record yourself doing a task once, talk through it, and Claude turns it into a skill it can run again on its own. No prompts. No instructions. You show it once, it repeats it forever. Every repetitive thing you do, pulling the same report, formatting the same spreadsheet, cleaning up the same data. You walk through it one time and hand it off. It's live now under "Record a Skill" in the plus menu of the Claude desktop app on the Pro, Max, and Team plans. Here's my read: Knowing how to ask. Knowing your own job. Here's my read: the skill for using AI used to be knowing how to ask. Now it's just knowing your own job well enough to explain it out loud. That's the whole game. Data over drama.
