My top 5 things that I think are actually worth tracking! The first comes as no surprise but I definitely think that tracking your cycle is one of the most important things that we can do as women, especially if you have an irregular cycle. That way you can track and nail down exactly what your irregularities are when it comes to your cycle. But your cycle and your fertility is a vital sign and it's a sign of our overall health as women and it's important to have this information about our own bodies. That way we can empower ourselves and get to know our bodies on a whole different level. I've been using natural cycles for five years now and it has completely changed the way that I look at my overall health and wellness. It has helped me empower myself when it comes to my own body. The second thing would definitely be your sleep. I've always said this but getting high quality sleep means that you're living a high quality life. I don't feel like people really realize how important sleep is and how many magical things happen when our body is able to rest and to sleep at night. That's where all the recovery goes down. It's important for our physical health, our emotional health, our cycles, women's hormones. We now live in a day and age where you can track your sleep. I've had my Oura ring for years and the original reason that I got my Oura ring was because it automatically syncs my temperature trend data over to my natural cycles app, which makes tracking my cycle tremendously easier. Being able to see all of my sleep patterns has been so important for me. The third thing would be your protein. If you have never tracked your calories or your macros, I would just start off with tracking how much protein you are eating. If you can manage to get anywhere from 0.8 to 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight a day, you will feel the difference almost instantaneously. Getting enough protein especially as women is so important for our health. It helps build muscle. It helps with so many different things. Making sure that we have enough protein especially as women is so important for our health. The fourth thing, strength training. Being able to track your strength training is so important. I know a lot of people do workouts or workout classes, but being able to really track what weight you're lifting and being able to apply progressive overload is where you are going to see the changes in your body that you actually want to see. The way to do that is keeping track of your workouts. The fifth and final thing would be your mood. Okay, hear me out. Getting to track your emotions and how your mood changes, especially around your cycle as a woman, is really important and informative for us, which is more empowerment for us. That way when we reach out to get help when it comes to our mood, now we have the data to back exactly how we are feeling. I track all of that with my natural cycles app and it has been so informative for me. My top 5 things that I think are actually worth tracking!
