The moment I thought my pro soccer dreams were over it was always my dream to play professional soccer but at one point in my career I could make that dream a reality and I partnered today with CVS to share this story every step of my journey was shaped by coaches, teammates, family, that believed in me that's why I appreciate organizations like CVS Health communities they serve investing in and supporting people every day after college I went undrafted might be over but eventually I got an invite as a discovery pick for the Orlando Pride but that didn't mean I had made the team I meant I was going fighting for a contract that wasn't guaranteed every single day felt like an audition against some of the best players in the world knowing that at any moment I could be sent home during this time I lived with a host family and what I didn't realize at the time is they would become one of the most important parts of my journey their home to me but most importantly they gave me something every athlete needs when they're chasing a dream people who believe in them after hard training sessions Kourtney would encourage me when I questioned if I was good enough and every single time that I would try to help out or do chores around the house Rich would joke with me "just make the team" at the time these just seemed like small things but looking back these moments meant everything when you're chasing a goal everyone sees the result they see the contract, the accomplishment, but they don't see the people behind it the people who make you feel like you're not carrying the weight of your dream alone earned my contract and achieved my dream of becoming a professional soccer player but I know I wouldn't have gotten there alone to CVS Health for partnering with me on this video
