AI Sycophancy is bigger than I thought. 

This is becoming one of the biggest media literacy issues of the AI era: search engines that mirror bias back at us as “the answer.” 

In this case, wasps were a low stakes example, but imagine something that actually matters- politics, medicine, finances, parenting decisions or even just basic low stakes information like my example. Information shouldn’t be flexible based on bias.

The NYT recently had a Daily episode that argued this could be fixed, it’s a design problem, but until it is fixed, we need to be careful and teach our families to do the same.
