If you wanna be a millionaire, stop asking Claude for business ideas, ask for this instead. I'm Ben Gusberg. I'm a Stanford founder of an AI startup. We've raised $4 million. You won't get a winning business idea if you type into Claude, give me a business idea that will make me a millionaire by the end of the year. Trust me, I've tried. AI is very bad at new ideas, it's very good at doing research. So instead, use AI to find market gaps and stress test your idea. Open Claude or ChatGPT and follow these three steps. Step 1, search for problems. Say something like, what recurring problems do people on Reddit complain about in industry XYZ, or what complaints keep showing in reviews. Step 2, confirm demand. Take the sharpest pain you find and ask Claude, are people actively trying to solve the problem of insert problem here. What do they use now. Why isn't it working. If nobody's searching, the pain isn't big enough to create a business. If everyone's still hurting, that's your opportunity. Step 3, stress test. Ask Claude to pick apart your idea. Say something like, give me 10 reasons why my idea might fail. Then be a customer who'd never buy and tell me why. If after this it still seems like a good idea, run, don't walk, and let me know how I can help because I want to be a part of this. I'm Ben Gusberg, follow me for more on AI, founder life and leadership.
