There's a new hand roll bar in New York City that everyone's talking about and it's for a good reason. From the teams behind Shin East and 13rd Order, Nori Shin is now open in the East Village. They are known for their affordable hand roll sets and they're no tipping policy. But let's get into the food. We started with the Tuna Shimashini. The fish was so fresh and they were thick slices of tuna. And I love Toro, so I ordered the 13rd Order set. It came with five hand rolls for $38, a Toro, salmon, scallop, lobster and a spicy tuna. I also forgot to mention I did order mine with less rice. I sadly was not a fan of the scallop one, but everything else was so good. If it's your first time going, I highly recommend the salmon, spicy tuna, and the Toro. I assume this spot was going to be good, but I'm so glad it met my expectations and I'm already excited for my next visit. It is walk in only, but I definitely recommend checking out this spot.
