Stop Making Excuses for Ignorant Black People... I made this video a while ago, but I'm gonna make it again. I grew up first gen African in Catholic private school in the deep south. This was me. I was the only black girl in my class for many years. I wasn't gifted classes. That was me and my soccer team. With that being said, there is no excuse to have ignorant takes about your community or being black. Get it? I hate being called whitewash. To this day I'm always called whitewash and it's frustrating. But with that being said, even with all of that, mind you growing up in the deep south of Georgia, I still don't hold those negative sentiments and bad takes. So stop making excuses for people. Stop making age an excuse for people's ignorant takes. Stop making environment an excuse for ignorant takes. And obviously those do impact how people may view the world, but it gets to the point where people are constantly educating you and correcting you and you still choose to be ignorant. There are no excuses for this. And stop making excuses. Keep seeing people making well, they're at their parents are African or they grew up in a white environment. So did I, and you don't see me going online saying foolish stuff.
