if you were one of the students that unfortunately was un-enrolled from Howard University I'm about to tell y'all exactly what to do listen up closely girl cause I went there for six years undergrad and grad school I know a thing or two about working the Howard system okay first move get off the internet social media is not gonna do anything the only thing social media is doing is bringing light to the situation and honestly Gemini up the phone lines that's all social media is doing I need you to go through every email every piece of mail and pull any piece of documentation that has your scholarship information on it anything that Howard signed on, anything that has a submission date, anything that shows proof that you should currently be enrolled at Howard University. Okay, now that we have that, stop emailing those generic emails. Anything that's like financial aid at Howard.edu, enrollment at Howard.edu, Dean's, Provost, President, department heads, anybody that has a name, first name, last name, email them. It doesn't matter if it's not their department. You're gonna email them. Anybody whose contact information you can find because you want these people to be so tired of seeing your email that they directly you to the right person. And if you live in the vicinity of Howard University, you're gonna go up there in person. I don't care what the hours say. Somebody's in there. Somebody can help you. You can go to every building until you find somebody. Somebody can help you. One thing about Howard, there is always somebody there who knows exactly who you need to get in contact with. And it's the person that's gonna tell you yes. Go to the website. Now, I know a lot of y'all are going crazy because my classes, you're gonna be behind. You will be fine. Do not worry about classes. You need to worry about getting enrolled so then you can get your housing. And the only way to do that is to find one person, just one person, that can tell you yes. Class, but certainly not least. This is your first wake-up call as a student of Howard University, you need to have a Howard University documentation folder until the day that you graduate and actually into the day that you get that degree in your hand because that graduation don't get your degree. Every time that you have a concern, every time that you sign anything to do with Howard, it needs to go in this one specific folder. Why? Because a paper trail matters when you are dealing with the A building. It does not matter what you talk to anybody about. It does not matter what you emailed anybody about. You need to print it out, black and white. Gather your documents, present your case, advocate for yourself. I promise you, you will be okay.
