Let me very quickly correct you. A deep conditioner does not hydrate your hair. A deep conditioner can moisturize your hair. A deep conditioner can even help with repairing your hair. But a deep conditioner does not hydrate your hair. When we understand the meaning of hydrate, we understand the hydration means water, right? And although the first ingredient in the conditioner is going to be water, that's not the function of a deep conditioner. A deep conditioner contains film forming conditioning agents and they ate in moisturizer or moisturizer retention. So, If you have dry hair, a deep conditioner is not helping you hydrate your hair. It's helping you moisturize your hair, which is why you need to shampoo your hair first. If it was helping you hydrate your hair, you would not have to shampoo, you would not have to condition, you would not have to do anything else. You would just put deep conditioner on your hair and go on about your moisturizer. But we all know it doesn't work that way. So, that is just one thing I wanted to correct here. All right y'all. Bye.
