New pen, two new inks & pages in my ink dossier A little haul from @Atlas Stationers Adding some new treasures to my collection: Esterbrook Estie Fountain Pen • Seaglass (Fine Nib) Colorverse Korea Special Series • Dokdo (15ml) Dominant Industry • Seaweed (25ml) New Ink Dossier pages + swatches Every ink has a story, and I love documenting the little details behind each one Now help me decide… which ink should go in my new Estie? Dokdo or Seaweed? I've admired Esterbrook pens for such a long time, so finally adding one to my collection feels really special. I chose the Estie in Seaglass because I instantly fell in love with the soft, muted green. It's elegant, it's timeless and the color immediately made me think of the crystal clear ocean water. I also love the fine nib because that's what I naturally gravitate towards with everyday journaling. It gives me the crisp, clean lines while still letting me appreciate the ink's shading and character. I picked up the Colorverse Korea Special Series ink. As someone who's born in South Korea, releases like this always feel a little more meaningful to me. Dokdo is inspired by the water surrounding the islands. I love how it shifts between a bright marine teal and a deeper ocean blue, depending on how much ink sits on the page. It was designed to mimic the way the sea changes in depth. I also noticed this subtle sheen beginning to appear in the wetter areas, which adds more depth to the color. Dominant Industry - Seaweed This ink is part of their "A Log of Atlantis" collection. Seaweed represents the dark, lush vegetation growing in its depths. Not your average green; rather, an original pigment color, Dominant Industry pulls its inks with reflective, translucent pigments meant to catch the light - the brand calls this pursuit "bottled light."
